It s one issue they just can t seem to agree on The Senate the House and the White House all seem to have a different views when it comes to the farmbill Congressman Earl Pomeroy and North Dakota Ag Commissioner Roger Johnson are discussing who will be paying for the farmbill and how much they ll be spending Pomeroy says funding for the bill cannot come from new taxes He says there needs to be spending cuts to find the 10 billion dollars Earl Pomeroy Congressman There is enough money raised about 10 billion dollars by being able to catch those cheating on their taxes collecting the taxes that were owed and it funds the Farm Bill I don t think there is any legitimate basis for opposition to this and we are going to press hard The current farmbill will expire on March 15th Pomeroy says if the bill isn t passed by the 15th a short term extension will be requested
